Why being quick is important incorporate headshot photography?
There is a couple of reasons why it is important to do a quick portrait or corporate portrait and have different looks in the portrait. If you are doing magazine work, the editors never going to want you to just send him one or her one image. They are going to need two or three different looks. You should get one environmental look something that looks more formal. You also have to get the ability to change your background up very quickly or have two different places set up so you can shoot.
The second reason is that you do not have all the time in the world. the maximum shooting time has got a limited window. So, you need to be quick with your shot and get whatever you can as you might not get a second chance to do so. For the room set up a rim light is a must just to separate a bit from the background. With a softbox and white light on the back, the hole shot can have a different look. If you like your shots to be suttle then you can throw some black up on the roof and dark background with some of the other reflectors.

You might not need just a few of the pieces of equipment for the shoot. corporate headshot photography can be confusing as there are multiple modifiers, multiple lights, and different brands and the equipment can be very expensive. So, it is important to invest wisely. It is suggested to buy equipment that can be used across your photography. Clients usually ask for a grey backdrop a blue backdrop or a white backdrop. A portable backdrop is a great investment for portrait and headshots photographers especially if you are needing to go on location to do the shoot, these can just be thrown on your back or in the back of your car.
For the gray and blue background, you can use a collapsible backdrop.
