- How much steam do you want- If you want your sauna room to have steam as well, then you have to purchase a traditional sauna heater. The Infrared sauna heater is not a good pick as they don’t produce steam because they don’t use a heating element or sauna stones.
- Timing matters- Most people don’t want to wait too long for the sauna room to get heated up. So, if you are willing to at least wait for half an hour to 45 minutes, then you can look for a traditional sauna heater. Or else, Infrared saunas can work fine as it typically takes nothing more than 10 to 15 minutes.
- Maintenance- That is a crucial buying factor. Not everyone might have the time to spend behind the maintenance of a sauna. Traditional saunas are long lasting, and they do not ask for much extensive maintenance. Traditional saunas are placed in large areas which needs thorough cleaning at least couple of times a year. For Infrared saunas, the trouble is less.
