Recently we saw images of tear gas, burning cars of police, looted stores, and protesters all across America in the month of July. While this can be shocking for some people it is nothing new or surprising.
The protest in 2019 began with the video of a black American dying because of the oppression of a white police officer keeping his knee on his neck. This began the black lives freedom movement and people started protests with black lives matter flag, slogans, shirts, and a lot more.
But this is not the first time that America is witnessing this type of protest. Earlier in 2014, there were protests in Ferguson Missouri and there have been riots of Rodney King during 1992 as well as the civil rights movement.
But this time the protest is a bit different because they occur at a time when the entire country is gripped by the pandemic which has taken more than a million lives.
