The Seattle-Tacoma Airport map, or better known as the seatac airport map, is a graphical representation of the airport through a bird’s eye view. This airport is relatively large in terms of traffic but if one looks at it through a geographical perspective; the area it uses is fairly small.
It is the United States’ ninth-busiest airport. Originally built during World War II for the military, this airport covers four square miles of space.
Travelling to and from the airport
There are a fair amount of transportation facilities available to travel to and from the airport. One can use the Link Light Rail, the cheapest available option or even use a can or the bus. There are two sky bridges that connect the airport to the railway systems.
Security checkpoints at the airport
If one takes a look at the seatac airport map, they will find that there are five security checkpoints in the parameter. Checkpoint 1 & 2 connect to the gates A and S, while the checkpoints 2 & 3 connect the gates B and C. The last, checkpoint 5 connects the gates D and N. Gates and terminals of the airport
There are two terminals at the airport: the Main terminal and the Central terminal. There are three gates on either side of the terminals. The gates A, B and S (South) are located South Station while the gates C, D and N (north) are located near the North Station. There is a train that connects the North and South station of the airport. The C gate has been closed throughout 2019 due to renovation.
There are several eateries and restaurants at each gate of the airport. These restaurants host a menu of cuisines of Vietnam, the USA, and Africa. There are several dessert kiosks at every stop.
Art displays at the Seatac airport
Every concourse atSeatac airport has about four to seven art displays. There are ‘Talking Fountains’ at the B, C and D gates. They were created by Jim Green and make a water gurgling sound when a button is pressed. The airport has its own app that shows the seatac airport map that shows where the art pieces are located.
With an impressive location and history, this airport boasts of having a skywalk, children’s play area, spas, gifting stores, and several eateries. Perhaps, that is what is required when it’s the ninth-busiest airport in the United States.
